They are a fine token. I’ve had a couple of the fob watches. Batteries lasted less than a year. Always kept decent time til batteries died. Marked made in Japan, but I recall the PCB inside said china on mine. I’d buy another at $20 or less.

Steve, UPS is famous for doing this. They back charge you and take it right outta your account. I’ve even used the UPS store to confirm the weight when dropping off and still had UPS try and charge me saying I under-declared the weight. They do the same with box sizes. Welcome aboard. I am our Troops quartermaster and enjoy the mix of lanterns/stoves and Scouts. Cook those boys up some hot cocoa and they will learn to appreciate your love of stoves. LP is fine and certainly functional, but white gas is where its at.

That will be an awesome frankie Reese. Hope you find what you are looking for. Seems some 1-1/4 or 1-1/2” copper tubing should bend up nicely into two U’s and could then be soldered together.

Go foreward at your own risk, but.... I would use an electric burner to maintain a constant temp. IIRC, a contant temp gets you the most from your RUG and no dregs in the final product. I have several reverse fluted bits and have cut one to a custom length, that gives me the beat diameter for extraction.
Meaning, you may to experiment a little to get the perfect fit. Dont give up.
