Nice light up, Mark.

I was working in the garage last night and just decided to fire up my frankie CQ top on a re-purposed fire extinguisher Fount. It was just soothing to listen to it hiss while working on  the bench project.

I go out to my shed and fire up a few lanterns and the old 520 and just enjoy the night with a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Clears away the days stress.

Those look great, Mark; great pictures from you as always.  I especially like the frankie with the 530 tank.

Thanks for the offer of the frame, Steve.  I removed the frame from this one to fix up one for a friend that had damaged frame but really nice tank.  My tank on mine was quite dented but didn’t have the heart to throw it away.  Thus, Ugly Frank was created.

They are pretty nice, John.  A couple of local members made me several in different sizes.

I have a Stansport mesh globe for a 288/286 and a couple made from guttering covers but yours looks almost like that Japan perforated Coleman globe Warren sold a few years back.

Here is my collection of perforated globes.  There are 4 200A-sized globes, 1 288-sized globe, and 1 220/228-sized globe.  You will notice that the 220/228-sized one is not tacked together so I can use it by itself or compress it a bit and slip it down inside a globe to help dim the light.  It really works well slipped inside a frosted globe.

Awesome pics!  Can we get a few pics of those lanterns when unlit?  I especially would love to see the 530 stove lantern....

Here you go, Mike.

The December, 1924 327 is the first QuickLite I found and the January, 1941 242B is a favorite of mine.

My one and only 228.

Ugly Frank sports a different globe nowadays and never has been much of a retina burner which is OK with me.

Awesome Collection, and have a safe Journey.  I do it all the time.  My Wife and I sat out on the patio last night before it stormed.  Brought out my 228 and we just relaxed in the glow.  I use my stoves all the time too.  Sure is nice having these awesome tools....

Hello all! Newer member here. I just did the same thing lest night. Lit up my Milspec to enjoy... Granted I was also prepping a couple 220"s and other necessities for an upcoming camping trip as well.

I try and get one or two going every day. Unfortunately, I have a couple favorites - the loudest ones - that get used the most. I also have one 321B that tends to get lit a lot, not sure why I pick it!
