I am not an iron collector but I am curious about this lot on a local auction.  Did Coleman make a yellow iron?  I could not find one on TMs website.

Agreed, not the same color at all.  Well, not sure what to do.  Almost have to bid on it purely out of interest and curiosity.  I DONT WANT TO COLLECT IRONS!!!!  I hate this hobby and all you enablers!!!

Looking closer im betting that's spray painted,... The nickel looks like VHT paint almost.. Not sure of the model to the left, but it's nicer than any I've come across in the wild. I'm like you, if they were cheap id be a buyer... For no good reason ðŸ˜

You may be correct about being painted.  Looks like it was done well but it would be interesting to know for sure

Agree whole heartedly with this statement, I thought I'd be happy forever with 1 iron to playwith, now they keep finding me.

Auction ends in 4 days.  I bid a low ball bid.  Irons dont usually go for much around here because there are thousands of them laying around in every barn.  Just hope I dont get it!!

I misread the auction...it isnt going until July 23rd so I likely have time to go check it out prior to the actual event   It must be painted as I cannot find any other ref for a yellow one.
Agreed, the green model 5 looks great.

That green was for sale at $3500 pesos and thats like $157 USD, very steep for an iron
