Wisconsin area collectors will be gathering at Jerry Engbring’s garage at 4809 Rothman Place in Monona, Wisconsin on Saturday, December 1. Bring items to display, sell, or trade. Check out Jerry’s collection and share food and fellowship by the wood burner. You don’t have to be an ICCC member or even a Wisconsin resident to attend. Heck, if we will let people from Illinois participate, a Golden Gopher, a Wolverine, or even a Hawkeye could make it through the door. Please bring a dish to pass. Plan to arrive after 9:00 AM and stay until after the evening light up.

Please let me know if you will be attending by posting here or sending me a PM. It is important so we can set up the garage to accommodate.

Thanks,

Steve

Is this replacing the normal March gathering or is this just a small, more local thing? I have been planning on attending in march.

I'm trying to lure Steve W into coming. He's on Facebook but I don't think here. He's under the impression we will all be running Arcs and Aristocrats and sip cognac.
It'll buff out.

So JR - are you bringing the cognac this year?  Also, how many arcs will you be bringing?

It looks like we will have 18 collectors in the garage if everyone makes it.  Please remember to bring a dish to pass if you can.  The current forecast is for rain and 41 degrees.   I am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

We are now up to 20 if everyone shows.  That is slighty problematic as we only have room for 14 tables.  We will just need to share.  Look forward to seeing you there.

Looks like a storm for Saturday. Most of this will be rain from Madison to Janesville with a mix of rain and snow from Baraboo to Camp Douglas.  North of Camp Douglas looks like all snow.

Rain will slowly transition into snow Saturday night, but accumulations will be tough to come by with a very wet ground and temps above freezing.

Drive safely and allow extra time.

A great big thanks to the folks who stayed to the bitter end and helped clean up after the gathering.  The tables and chairs were taken down, the tent extension was removed and put on the tables to dry, and there was enough room for Pat to put her car in the garage.  Jerry was very appreciative and I will not need to go over there tomorrow.  That really makes a difference.  Thanks again.  I will put up photos tomorrow from the good camera.

John and Dean - I ditched early as well.  Terry had two bags of blasting media at my house that he needed to pick up.  I was expecting to go back on Sunday to clean up, but Jerry called with the good news that it was taken care of.

Had a great time. Meant to go down in the basement and take some pics of the lamps and shades.
Was good seeing those I'd met before and new faces as well. Driving home was just rain. Had some bad weather down our way. Rain, hail, and tornados.
Looking forward to March already.

Thanks for all the work putting this on. Was good talking with Jerry and Pat again.
