We have that exact same picture of Carrie Nation with her bible and hatchet framed in the pub!
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

Wish I could visit your pub. Carrie Nation reminds me of a Nun teacher in my parochial grade school.
More Tennessee beer. This brand is from Nashville.

Sweet 200A, Karen!

Unfortunately, the picture is inside and we now have only outside seating for the duration.

One of my favorite brews from Breckridge Brewery, out of the great state of Colorado, has been halted, discoutinued 4, etc. It was called Mango Mosaic. I'm always on the hunt for its replacement. Still searching and have found this IPA. More abv's but still not the taste. 6.7% ABV. Dont how LJ and the Colonel do it, but i made a mess, (in the photo categorey). Yeah its a keeper, my BIL, Bridd will be the deciding factor, if it remains on the shelf long enough.

Went back to low carb man.  I lost a ton of weight a while back, close to 155 pounds - from 425lbs to 270lbs.  A few years back now, work kicked into high gear and my stress level went through the roof!  The the hurricane, etc...  anyways, I landed myself back around 325 the other day....  I needed to kick myself in the butt, big time!  Lost 5lbs so far!  Off the beer for a little while.  No pizza, no burgers.  Been doing lots of boiled eggs, chicken salad, and broccoli.   Boring stuff lol, but it works for cutting.  I think we’re doing tacos on low carb tortilla tonight.

Taking out the garbage!  Bacon, salami, wieners, mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, topped with Swiss and cheddar.  Keeping it classy with a $10 Chianti.

It’s that time again!

Double Scoop double IPA. This elusive offering from Back East Brewing in Bloomfield, Connecticut is yet another local variety that I’ve been trying to hunt down. It usually flies out the door before it even makes it into the cooler at our local packie. Quite smooth for the 8.4 ABV that it is. It’s delicious, but I think maybe only one of these tonight  🤪

A 16 ouncer at 8.4 is for real! Never seen it here in the midwest, but would like to. Super nice pic, as always. I need a camera like you and the Colonel have!

It sure does creep up on ya! From what I was told, it isn’t normally offered in cans, only kegs. But since the COVID had bars shut down, Back East switched gears and decided to offer it canned. I hope they continue to do so!

I enjoy craft beer and love tracking my intake with the uncappd beer app.  When not searching for a "new" brew I always come back to my Original 16.  I played rugby with one of the original 16 guys many moons ago so I love supporting the great prairie underdog brewery success story.
