After over a week where it never got above freezing, we had a couple of inches of snowfall yesterday, then the Chinook hit. It's now 47F outside, windy, and the packed snow on the roads is now black ice.

Our white Christmas is going to be pretty brown with cars in the ditch.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

I still have some snow on my driveway over off Mexico and Salt Lick Roads. You can also take the ice as a bonus!

Typical PNW weather here. Two solid days of rain and surely more to come. There is NEVER a water shortage around here. If you don't like the rain you could get into a major funk living here but I like it. Apparently a pretty good dump of snow on the local mountains. I'll be going there to play in the snow ASAP after the holidays.

Weather here in central Maine has been strange so far too. Some cold/snow and others warm. 7 degrees now and last Saturday I was out in a short sleeve shirt 50 and rainy... Not too excited about snow the older I get, but I really don't like ice...

48 degrees (F) here today, forecast says 57 Christmas day.  So not much probability of a white Christmas here.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Its always darkest before you light the Coleman lantern!

Winds to a little over 60 mph yesterday and 54 degrees. Looks like a brown Christmas, but at least the ice is gone from the roads.

No snow in Georgia. We will have to settle for the memory of the snow we had at the Bozeman convention in June..

Ice fog moved in last night. Right purty, but with a high today of 25, kinda chilly.

Prepping lanterns for the bonfire tonight.

White clouds earlier and overcast right now, 72 degrees and 84 percent humidity, too darn warm for Christmas in my opinion.

I saved some snow for summer one winter. I got in a lot of trouble when that ice ball hit my brother in the head

No fresh snow here. But most of the yard is still covered from a few weeks ago. Weird weather, it was teens/twenties last week, 50 on Monday, in the 40’s the last couple days.

Nice pictures, Timm.  They almost look like they were shot in black and white.  A bonfire sounds nice about now!

So Russ, did you pull out the bag of snow today and have a white Christmas?  ❄️ ⛄️

No white Christmas in Buffalo, it was green.  The little snow we had early last week (a few inches) is just about all melted, with only little bits here and there where snow shovels or plows piled snow.  It was sunny and 48F today and I noticed lots of folks out walking about the neighborhood.  Beats Christmas week 2001 when we got about six FEET of snow over the course of that week, which started Christmas Eve.
