Another nice lady I have dealt with the last week sent me this pic with the Primus 71 stove from '38 that was her F-I-L's.  Sounds like he was a pilot or on a plane during WW II.  She said the stove may be in the photo.  🙂  What make of car is it?
By the way, she shipped the stove on Monday, came to me by FedEx today.  USPS, are you listening?

Nope.  That's a detailed study of the photo and about an hour of web searching.

Ullswater = UK
1939 = late depression era (meaning cars may be 10 years old)
Two wing Whitworth wheel nuts = (For British car enthusiasts) = MG
spare location, door drop, roof struts, right hand drive, hood ornament and relative size are all correct for 1930 MG 18/80 MK1.

That’s a cool story Duane. It is nice to have a history on things.  I am sure she must appreciate your interest in her story.

Lady said he collected Lagonda autos.
Cleaned the stove up, rinsed fount out, ran nice.  Outlaw was asking me about a newer model stove, bet this was cheaper than he would have paid.

Lagonda, I hadn't even heard of that one before. Good research.

I like those old round nose filler caps.  I have one but the solder release pin leaks and I haven’t gotten to resoldering and pressure testing it.

This one looks like it had been resoldered.
