Well, can’t get a pic right now, but, I can describe it. It screws into the burner, it has a hex part that goes for about and inch, then it’s the top threads.

Levi  I know what its supposed to look like.  but a rough verbal description simply maps to the same thing.  Ee can look at pics and should be able to tell where its off.  but your description fits most all the 242/243/24X studs.  and there are some that are different - lengths for one...

Levi I've had a couple of the 242s that had the vent stud rusted enough that the vent nut was basically just sitting there... OCP has reproduction studs if you need them.

I have a feeling somebody changed it. I’m thinking somebody retapped it at some point because they lost the ball nut because it has a standard hex nut on it now.
