Don’t know anything about them but it looks pretty straight forward. Even had the pump with it. Are these things safe to run? Any advice to get it running? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

It'll be great once you have the ceramic elements that go above each burner.  They are available, but they're precious.

My friends don’t call me “Lantern/lampie Levi”
for nothin’,if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

The biggest lie I tell myself is

They were individual ceramic blocks.  If you thought the wait on a vintage globe was bad, wait til you ship one of these delicate things.

I think I'd be looking to make friends in a college ceramics class.

Here's a No. 16 lit up.  Picture from Terry Marsh's excellent site.

Still a great find.  Post a WTB here and you might find one or two scattered around.  Keep at it long enough and you'll have a complete heater.
It isn't going anywhere.  I can't get the link to work, but try a search for "Coleman #16 heater" by SteveRetherford.  Some good scoop on the radiants as you scroll deeper into the thread.

I'm kinda happy that I don't need things like that any more.  Life at the beach is pretty bearable most of the year with no heat.

Boom, I acquired 1 earlier this year and did a complete tear down and clean with repaint. Mine burns great but parts are not "cheap". Here's a pic of how mine started.

Here is another resource in case Eastway doesn't have what you are looking for.  I bought model 18 heater radiants from these folks because Eastway didn't have them:    http://www.heaterradiants.com/

Nice score on the radiant heater, Russ.  I didn't know that anyone was still making the ceramic radiant blocks.  That's interetsing.
