Here’s that 4-63 220e I picked up a couple weeks ago after a full cleanup and repaint.  My paint skills leave something to be desired but at least there’s no drips.  I’m glad I don’t make my living painting cars.

I had an inquiry into what paint I used on this one and thought I’d post it here in case anyone else wanted to know.

my reply to the pm from lj:

Unfortunately this one is difficult to find but it was the closest match to the vent.  3 coats of Krylon cover maxx hunter green gloss.  I did not apply a clear on it, just polished with Turtle wax polishing compound paste and then a few coats of meguiars wax.  Heres a pic of the products. Oh I did a wet sand with 800 wet dry to smooth out some orange peel, but I did not go too deep so there is some residual peel.
