Won a partially lantern on eBay a month or so ago, not my first Tilley so I like them too 🤪 and kerosene burners are becoming my most liked appliances these days. I started with naphtha and still remember my first find was a 9/51 Christmas lantern in a flea market, then joined here for some info and to list some extra time, after a few years returned here but lost my previous account so I had to make a new one and here I am hoarding GPA’s

next was to find a burner, vent and globe and those are not easily available here in the states so I had to jump on the eBay again and won some other cheap auctions, well... we all know that nothing is cheap these days and these GPA addiction is killing us 😔😬 so Pat for them and after 3-4 long weeks finally they arrived today but when I first saw the box (my wife handed to me) I said I am lost

Glad nothing inside the box was damaged and the globe and burner/vent were all intact thanks to the eBay seller who really takes care of their sales and all packaging prices.

here is my lantern and she looks amazing

thanks for this great site where we share our treasures.

That's a really nice one, Pancho, I'm glad the seller packed it well for you.  I have some Tilleys, too, and I agree, they are nice.

Yep, hard to go past a Tilley if you want a good, simple, and reliable kerosene lantern.
That one looks nice, Pancho, with a nice uncrazed vent as well.
Most Tilley models turn up down here. They are probably the most common lantern you will find down here.

What a awesome lantern. I have never heard of a Tilley lantern. It came out great. That box looks really beat up..😬 Good thing everything was packed up nice.
Looking for Bday lanterns, 10/83, 11/84 and 10/2011.
