Well that was a great visit! Got a phone call from an acquaintance who asked if I wanted some surplus army stoves.  Why wouldnt I?!.  This is what he gave me in a box...i almost fell over.

Dont know much about these 123s or the Fiesta 1950(?) But I am eager to learn.

Looks like a number of unfired Optimus or Svea 123R's.

Those look like 123R’s  in nice condition.  Popular little stoves.   Both users and collectors like them.   Given you have four of them they would make nice trade or sale items to feed your collection

They are all used but very gently used.  They are svea 123s.  The 505B is immaculate.

I have read about a parts stash in the pump several times but I dont know where it is.  I have searched the pump and unscrewed the base near the leather...there is no cache.  Am I missing something?

The very top of the pump--the part with the little lever--unscrews. It should have these parts:

There should also be another spare gen in a clip on one of the supports.

The spare cap gasket will likely be rock-hard after all these years, so order another one or two.

Yes, weird weather this summer.  But so far, it has been conducive to a good growing season and the grain farmers are keeping their fingers crossed.

I have never used a svea 123 before and was pleased to get one working.  Other then a small dent in one little pot, these all appear to be in good working order.  I played with the M1950 and got it holding pressure but I think the gen needs cleaning before it will fire properly.  Still cannot believe he handed that box over to me and THANKED me for taking them.  Hahaha.  One man's garbage.....
