I maintain two lists of lanterns/stoves I want next.  Obtainium and unobtainium.  Well, this past weekend I had the rare occasion to knock off some unobtainium. Found online in a town where I have a lot of friends/family, I locked this down a couple of weeks ago and took delivery this past weekend.

I won't tell you how much but it was more than the going rate of $8.
No globe, bent frame, "something" for a ball nut, and one sad clip on mantle. But as they say in real estate, it's got "good bones".
One interesting footnote on this guy, is that it is undated. Consensus is an error at the factory had them use the "MODEL 476.7020 USE GENERATOR NO. 7114" stamp twice, and even more interesting when they did it on the left it was done upside down.  That's the side that should have a date, but it should be 11/65.  It got shipped anyway.

I counted exactly 4 parts that were ferrous steel, which made cleanup relatively painless (frame nut, fount bottom, air tube top set screw, pump clip), though the collar and fount had a good bit of tarnish. Polishing a nickel fount is a lot easier when there is no decal, but it's the price you pay on this one.  Had a spare, correct ball nut and put on an American Camper globe (green PYREX).
I'm very happy with the result.

This one got one of my last packs of coarse weave silk-lites.  Lit like a charm and hurt my eyeballs.

Nice score.  That's good to fill one of your unobtanium items.
