Putting my application in.  Here's a pair of rocket launchers I picked up last year.  I haven't had the chance to take them camping yet, but I plan to.  Would like to request # 762.  It will make it easy to remember for me.

Hi all, new member here. I have decided to repair and restore my non electric lanterns. Among the flock are a TX700 lantern and TX500 single burner stove that belonged to my dad. I am ashamed to say that both have suffered in storage for decades. I plan to restore both to like new. No pics of them now.

I just received two Dual Beam lanterns from ebay sellers. One is NEW in the box, amazing. The other is just fine, but the original box is a lost cause.

The new one:

And the second one:

B6736F77-9848-48E2-A149-ADE64A86CE7C.jpeg

And this stove is in shipping. It will need some TLC for sure, but I have a special project in mind for it.

I found some aluminum high-temp paint at a local hardware store for use on wood stoves or BBQs.

Very cool!  Would you mind taking a few detail photos of the Piezo setup? I am interested to see how the igniter is routed and am considering adding this feature to one of mine.  The only hassle with these lanterns is lighting. It's a three hand job to open the base, hold the match and turn the valve all at the same time. 😉

Here are the close up photos of the Piezo setup. You can see that they are not using the ceramic burner on this one. Very clever to run the igniter inside the mantel.
