They are basically the same except that the 123R has a built-in cleaning needle and 90 degree valve, the 123 has an angled  downward valve. The 123 preceded the 123R.
She was only a moonshiner's daughter, but I loved her still.

That's it. The 123's came with a pricker that folded up in a separate tool. As a self-pressuring stove the fuel cap gasket needs to be good.
