A guy wants to sell me a lantern and the only info is on the bottom . 4 11 it is nickel. I think that would be a November 1934 quick lite. Am I correct.

If a QuickLite had a date it would be on the side, not the bottom.  Could be a Nov 34 220B since it is nickel.

Thanks mikew. He is hard to talk to on the phone. I think it is a big hat and he calls it an instant lite. I am going to go look at it in the morning.

Hope it works out.  May be a 228B with the big hat.  Well made lanterns if in decent shape.  If it's a B from 1934, it should have cotter pins holding the bail to the frame.

Yeah the Bs are marked Instant Lite on the bottom and no model number stamped anywhere, although the early ones have 220B on the bottom. If it’s a screw in pump cap and set at an angle, it’s a B.

A Quicklite would have COLEMAN QUICK LITE in holes on the collar.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

Yeah it says instant lite on the bottom. I do believe it’s a 200B.
