Stopping in to look at this stove in the morning as I've been wanting a 3 burner to play with... Only problem is I don't believe the tank is with it... Hoping the stove pros can guide me as to which stove im looking at... And if it's worth hunting down another tank or not. 426 A,B,C?
3 stoves and 2 lanterns with glass for dirt cheap... But only thing I'm interested in is the 3 burner if it's worthwhile. What say you? Thanks and have a good evening.

Edit: photo helps

If your talking about the stove in the back it looks to be a 426b with a bronze tank. The tank is in there it’s just hard to see. You can see the generator between the main and right auxiliary burner. Go get it.

Thanks Joe, hope you're right. Seller didn't think it was there either? Idk this was the best picture of the stoves. I will know in the morning hopefully. I really don't need any of this, just wanting the 3 burner I guess.

If one of the two burners is a 413, grab it too, if dirt cheap.  They are really nice stoves since the burners are spaced further apart than a 425 or 426, and will easily hold larger pans.  The 426 series is great, but you end up either not using one of the burners, or limited to very small pans/skillets without scorching the sides of the case.

I agree Bob, the 413 is probably the best all around Coleman stove. Unfortunately I believe the other two to be 425s... The whole package is worth the glass in the lanterns... So it'll probably come home with me even if it shouldn't...

The Coleman 413 E, F, and G share the same gen with the 426 B, and D.

Getting one of these means you can stock one gen for multiple stoves including obviously 2 and 3 burners.

The center stove is a later 413.  No 425 ever came with that type of grate.

Looking for a 214 kero and REI single burner anniversary stove as well as any Coleman born on date 10/77, 1/80

I know you want a three burner, but the 413 is the cats meow.  It's plenty large enough for a Coleman oven or large pans, and if you need an extra burner for a coffee pot, well, that's where the single burners come in handy.  Grab both the 413 and 426!

Flammable liquids, open flame, what could go wrong?

I've missed you!  But I'm reloading.

Thanks John, I hadn't noticed the grate.

Jim I agree, I love the 413s.. Like I said don't need them, but if they're still there in the morning they'll be coming home with me. Just too cheap to leave behind.

Timm came up with a way to make them work. IIRC he used one of those black paper clamps with a hole drilled through it. I’ll have to search for it.

Just a heads up Toby, if the tank isn’t there. 426b/c tanks have been hard to come by lately. Not impossible but it’s seems there has been a rash of people needing them lately.
after Zulus post I relooked at the pic. Wavy-gravy it’s a b.

Good for you Toby. Told you I spotted the tank in there. Bronze tank instead of red means it’s the older version of the 426b 1954-1957. All the legs and the handle intact for $5 I’d say that deserves a you suck. Can’t wait to see it cleaned up and working.
