Any comrades here ever owned or used one of these?  Just curious what the experience was like.

Idk but I like it. Speaking of that, what about Russian lanterns? I don't think I've ever seen or heard of one. Surely they made some.

When I was with The Agency working in the arms trade in Madagascar in the early 1970s those stoves were very common among the Soviet and Eastern Bloc dealers that were working there.  I have no idea if they were any good or not.  I can neither affirm nor deny that any of this arms trading was legal under International law.

Check over on the CCS forum. There are some folks there who have some of the Russian stoves and can comment. Use the search and you'll find some threads on various problems and fixes.

Did you get one?  These look super cool.  I’ve always wanted to pull the trigger and buy one from Russia, just never have.  Always feel like I’d need to make room on my shelves before doing that lol.
