I've seen lantern with a slant generator style but, and with what looks to be an R55 generator??  Would this work?

Thanks Ed
But am I to expect then that the original fuel adjustment/ pricker/tip cleaner is long gone?  Is there any possiblity of finding the original parts?

there is a way to make one up with other parts, a generator from an iron and you change the tip. Again this is one of those areas where I know there are a few handy experts that know exactly how to go about this, Dr. Coleman, Steve knows, someone I remember but can't remember who! Hopefully they will post soon and rescue us here. But I do know you can make it just like it was when manufactured, one of those guys sent me the parts!

I want to thank everyone for their help the other day.  Without your input I wouldn't have been able to pull the trigger on the 118 slant lamp.  It should be getting here next week.  Should be a project to keep me busy for a while.  And Steve I know it is a sickness, but I've got to try to do at least one of these "original".
