Expecting a old stove (1944 or 47) from Canada, seller used UPS.  Per tracking, using their UPS Mail Innovations shipping.  It's been in Richmond, CA since the 7th.  USPS had it handed off to them a day after UPS shows it was received in San Leandro (bay area).  Has been trying receiving parcels lately.  Have ordered a number of lamp shades for my instant lamp collection.  Funny, sent a small part to Steve R on Monday, he had it on Wednesday.
Watching the news Sunday night, guess at least UPS is swamped with parcels as if it was Christmas.  Patience, not my virtue.
Meanwhile, I won a stove from the UK, shipped using FedEx on Monday, I had it on Wednesday, yesterday.

That was great luck with the FedEx shipping Duane.  I've had nothing but bad experience with FedEx.  Maybe international travel is a bright spot with them.

Your shade showed delivery today yesterday.
Today it shows delivery unavailable and it is in West Sacramento? I’ve had ok luck with UPS but another shade took an extra day last week.
I know volumes are up and UPS has even been delivering on Saturdays!

Still have my fingers and toes crossed!
Thank you
Kevin
I frighten easily!

My current shade is Coleman!!

To me a lamp without a shade is creepy!

Kevin, what you describe is normal for USPS, but per the news, UPS in another location I mentioned is running behind.
