Still not a lamp buyer (I keep telling myself), but sometimes....  Does this look life a Coleman shade?  It is on Facebook Marketplace for $65.00 and if the shade is Coleman (even if not correct for the CQ) I would want it.  Thoughts on the shade?

Thanks.  I looked up the 443 and that is what is on it.  Made the deal and it is on its way.  I'll post a few pictures once up and running.

Well, I got it delivered to me today.  Seller said it had been left in a house they had rented.  It is in good shape.  Dated 6 9, so September of 1926, right?  Fiber wheel E.  I'll look that up on Larry's list.  Valve wheel turns.  Inside of fount looks good.  Will start the clean up and post (hopefully) running pictures soon!  Thanks for all the responses.

Pretty happy with it now.  Pumped it up, held pressure and air passed through generator! All this may need is a general clean up, fuel and fire!  James, Think I will hold on to the shade for now!

Nice score.  Glad you didn't miss out by delaying.

For me, being a Kremelite shade makes it extra desirable.   The color of that shade when lit is very unique and beautiful.   If you're not aware, that's uranium glass, also known as vaseline glass.   The gov took over all uranium by WWII, which ended production of that glass forever.  In case you didn't know, it'll glow a pretty green under a black light.  I don't have a Coleman Kremelite, but have an Akron uranium glass version sold as Cremax.

Flammable liquids, open flame, what could go wrong?

I've missed you!  But I'm reloading.

Glowing green under a black light pales in comparison to one lit by a nice CQ, 117, 118 or 119!

Lamps and shades are underrated!

Thanks for all the information.  The shade is cool.  I have a few lamps, but none as nice as this one.  Super simple to get going.  Did put on an R55.  May still need to do a bit more cleaning of the valve, but she runs pretty good!

James, you are right, no harm in asking the question.  I have it in the house now to protect it.  Not sure the Mrs. is going to let it stay, but she does like the shine!
