Taking my new lamp camping but had no case. Dug into my scrap pile and put this together.
Not fine cabinetry but should protect the lamp.

That's a fine looking lamp case.  After this trip you may see the valve of steel shades, but I hope that pretty mica one you have doesn't get squashed.

Lamps with shades in camp might bring out the "where's the cord?" crew.
