Coast to Coast
After a couple flea markets and some antique stores I thought I was going to completely strike out on this years vacation up north.  Then I spotted this little beauty!  You don’t see one like this everyday.

The picture came through just fine for me. That's a really nice brimless vent on that lantern. That vent and the globe are worth more than the price of admission there. Congrats.

That's very very cool!  Personally, I'd have to find a way to mount and plumb it up to fire it up.  However, I would swap out that precious globe first.

Sweet find, that's an interesting little bugger. And it appears to be a Frankie!

Yes, definitely keep that glass safe!

That’s a neat lantern for sure. The globe is a really awesome find. I would say it turned your day into a home run

Two great finds there. I usually just keep the globes when found in the wild and toss the rest. Then again I've not found one with that vent.

I spotted it from across the store.  Thought it might be an interesting propane,  then saw the globe and the vent.  I have a few lanterns that need a nicer vent and a preway Jr that needs the globe.  There was also the one that got away at the flea market.  Watched it go seconds before I got there.  And the monster that I was inches from landing in my kayak.  Typical trip up north.

I tried to sell back everything but the globe and the vent after I bought it.  No dice...
