WYSIWYG
I found this stove on the local craigslist , and because I felt sorry for it I thought I would try to revive it. The owner said it was a good stove until it got placed under his car and he forgot it was there. Well the stove was sold as a parts stove and I figured I could salvage a few items and recoup the cost if needed.

I filled the fount with water and froze it to get it back to shape then had to use heat and brute force to get the final shape, then a little filler and lots of shaping and sanding. the other parts were massaged back in to shape with a lead hammer, brass punches wooden dowels, pvc pipe, and various other tools used an anvil  to get the contours I needed.

This stove has all it's original parts, with the exception of the valve wheel, I wanted a red one. And of course thanks go to Cigar Mike at OCP for having the decals I needed in stock. I chose the 202 decal because I wanted to...

I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Fine work, John.  You should share that on spiritburner.com

I wish you lived close enough to me to work the dents out of my truck door where I showed a stump who's the boss.

Very nice John, in all their toughness the collar sure is a dainty piece to work with. Had one that needed a minor dent or two worked out, wished id left it alone.

Now that's determination! Most would not even bother with one in that condition. You sure did a nice job with getting all those parts back in to shape. I like the red too.

You must be ICAR certified.  Do you have a frame straightening machine at home?  That is one great job - unbelievable!!!

SWEET! That's the decal I was going to recommend!  It's the perfect size.

Coleman missed the boat on doing these in red. People may have been more likely to pick one up when they were buying a 200A.

John, you have obvious talent and patience. Excellent.

That one really looked D.O.A. (B.I.D. for our United Kingdom folks) to me when you started. Gotta paint one of mine in red also - great color for that.

Ed,

I think for that I would start with the boiling water method, Freezing might be a bit much, there is no way to control it and you run the risk of blowing the bottom out. Mine had a long way to move so I got away with freezing. It took several cycles and the last cycle the bottom started to bulge.  I was able to un dent a 202 with the boiling method. and not too long ago someone else posted their results and it was quite acceptable.
