This is my first quicklite lantern and am pretty happy with how it turned out. It is dated January 1926 and was well preserved in a parafin dip. It even had the original mica although the frame was pretty much disintegrated. I was able to clean and salvage the generator that came on it too.  The pump was a bear to get off and the dried stinky RUG was a mess and not to mention the parafin dip but I think it was time well spent.

Nice!  Yes, the pump can be a bear and I stopped trying to remove mine for fear I would break it.

Sure makes it easy to inspect and clean the fount with the pump removed and the big hole to see in though.

Great looking lantern and nice renovation!...looks like the paraffin dip saved a lot of the plating...enjoy!

Thank you.  Still hope to get some mica for it.  Is Fred making any globes at the present time that anyone knows of?
