I recently bought a 523 stove, I wanted to paint match the fuel tank and frame. Can anyone point me to a close paint color.

Hi Tony!
Welcome to CCF.  A 523 is a cool item to present as your first here...
I landed a 523 dated 1944 from a member a few weeks back so I feel obliged to answer, lol.  There are two colors on this one - a flat black for the frame and an olive drab for the tank.  I can pull a Pantone match but can't reduce that to a brand and part number of paint.  Would this help?  I'm unaware of any post on this forum that talks about either of these paints.

Hi Tony - My apologies for the long wait.  The OD tank is a pretty good match for Pantone 448 - if you had to do anything add a very small amount of black., it is a flat paint.  The black frame looks like a Pantone Black 7, and is what I would call the low-gloss end of semi-gloss but not as flat as the tank.
