Good morning all, I recently took possession of an old Coleman Powermate 54 generator that I would like to get running again.  I have been searching online for the owners manual with no luck.  I reached out to Powermate with no luck, and was wondering if any of you might know of a resource for finding old manuals.  It's a Coleman Powermate 54 model number 544020 with a serial number of 86171253 or 55 the last number is tough to make out.  Any help is appreciated.
I love the smell of Coleman Fuel in the Morning!

I looked those up and it appears to be a standard float carb Briggs and Stratton. It shouldn't be too tough to get running. It should have a Briggs model, type, and serial number on the engine. It may be easier finding info that way. I would also pull the end cover of the generator off and grease the bearing. Get it running and then we can figure out the generator side. E.

Thanks E, I got contacted Briggs and Stratton and they emailed me the manual. I ordered a $25 kit off of Amazon that had a fuel filter, fuel shut off valve, new carb, new air filter, and a new plug. That was a no brainer. Old carb was completely locked up. I have it running and it does generate power. I tested by plugging a box fan into it. Still needs a good clean up but for having a total of $65 into a working generator it was worth it. I’m not sure what you meant by the bearing that needs to be greased on the generator side.
