On January 12th I had the misfortune of losing my dock canopy along with 5 other property owners on our lake due to a very wet and substantial snowfall. Had the dock repaired in early May and while the contractor was in the neighborhood I went ahead with building a garage/shop I had been wanting since I purchased the vacant lot next to me 13 years ago. Happy times my friends!

Nice!!...I dream of having a small shop...where the wife is not allowed!!!! ( she tends to hog the garage when I am supposed to be hogging it)
Can't sleep, squirrels will eat me....

If you need a Sun Flame Generator Model 100-107 ( for Sunflame lanterns models 105, 106, 107 and 110) give me a PM, I have close to 80 of those, 15 bucks each.

Thanks John! I thought I wanted a 20' x 24' shop but the contractor convinced me to go 20' x 30'. I'm glad he did, better to do it now rather than wishing I'd done it originally.
And thanks Werner and if you do build a shop in the future be nice and let the wife at least visit occasionally!

Now start building shelves....

Congrats!

You are exactly right Timm. Lots of shelves and a long workbench, after sealing the slab and getting the overhead door installed. Oh,  and electricity!

It sure is, John; that would be a dream come true for me.

Very nice place, Vance, I especially like that garage. 👍

It’s too bad that you and your neighbors had to deal with the storm damage. But boy, the new dock and your awesome workshop look great! Enjoy!

Thanks Ridge Runner, Mother Nature needs to be a little kinder once in a while. We are still recovering from a dam breach in 2016. Gotta hope she will be kinder anyway!
