You all know that old Johnny Cash song...

Only I won't be able to say "And it didn't cost me a dime..."

But it should be a fraction of what complete versions cost...

I got the bug for one of these after Timm had one given to him IIR.

And after I fried a great 242 vent I'm thinking man, what do I do now?

Then this came up on Eprey, and I won it  for a fair price:

I'm thinking I can use it on the 242?  Hmmmm

Then the frame Base comes up and I score THAT off Eprey for a great price!

So I have the two hardest parts...  I've already found a can for the top "Burner frame" that is a good size (marked "Save the can" for when SWMBO finally cooks the contents...)

And I can BUILD a "KookLite"   "One piece at a time!"

So 242 conversion Frank?  OR:

I have an AGM KampLite LRL2 1A; and a Sears/AGM 710-74000 single.

I need to dig those out and compare - was that type the basis of the KookLite?  We shall see...

I don't think the reflector/sliding door will be difficult to fab, and the extendable pot supports should be fairly easy as well.  (I've saved LOTS of pics of these as I was outbid at least three different times...)

So this will be interesting to see where I take this, even to me!

Well, OL, too bad you can't sneak out the pieces in your lunchbox.  Will be interesting to see what you come up with.
Hmm, look at what just popped up:

The Kooklite is a dressed-up LRL 21A. You have it!
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.
