In the box-o-stuff recently purchased on CCF Classifieds (Thanks Fred!).

This 3-armed spring steel thingy is surely a shade holder, just not sure how and on what it works -

Any ideas?

I suspect the 3rd pic is the correct application!

Inspired by the Midstate 450 shade holder and the availability of their half frosted globes I had to borrow bits of the design to adapt it to Coleman lamps.  Not original Coleman, but far more affordable than an original Coleman 062 globe and globe clamps.

There was a couple of the reflector that is shown in the smaller photo in a lot that I was outbid on.
I did get this Midstate #1303 globe and this other part which I have not identified in the lot that I purchased.
