Hello All
Long story short is I love the Euro style lanterns but the real deals are big bucks! I have been trying for some time to drive out to DDAVIS place for a lantern visit and he had something I wanted to buy so some dealings were stuck. He convinced me we should take a ride and see what we could score and    drum roll  please.

Before

After

This was the one for me I just had to have it. Dave for taking me to THE place.

I have read some of the lighting instructions and the original instruction manual but once I have read everything about it I will post it again all lit up. I really like the smaller one as it has less candle power hopefully it won't be too bright and because I just really like the smaller ones

As promised I filled the fount (Jet-A was all I had) and it was straight no blend with Coleman fuel. Tied on a mantle & pressurized the fount just passed the 1 on the indicator and used the rapid preheater, which did not want to light with a stick match I had to use a torch which it lit right off then and when the mantle was done burning off and the preheater tube was glowing red hot I slowly opened the valve wheel towards 9 o'clock then around 8 or 7:30 it took right off and I snapped the rapid cover down and twisted the valve open all the way to 6 o'clock at the same time & she runs great.
