Im not aware of any get togethers, but I will say clear lake is an odd place. It was even more eerie when I drove past it while the fire was raging last year right of of the 20. The smoke had settled on the lake and most of the town was evacuated. Abandon boat docks ect.

I have no idea what I am doing.

Tks....I understand....but having been up there recently, it has two large group camps.... and many individual sites....price=reasonable.
Much of the fire devistation does not effect the state park

Watch for an announcement later, but sounds like the next one anyone is proposing will be much further south.

yes, we have been casually working towards a plan for the next one. We had one already this year at the pinnacles. It turned out great as the park was closed and only people with existing reservations could come in, so it was almost entirely empty.

For the next one we are leaning towards an unincorporated camp spot. We had discussed the Carrizo plains and also further north in the mendo nat'l forest.

We are open to ideas at this point. The usual suspects have not laid out any formal plans yet.
