Took my Thursday morning trip to the goodwill and found this one for $10.00 I knew it was a C model but didn't,t realize how great it was till I got it home and looked it over, can it be a unfired 220C, I can,t find any tool marks on it not a repaint and the tank is clean as a whistle with no smell of ever being fueled, just need some of your opinions on it,s unfired or not. 220C 002.jpg  220C 004.jpg  220C 005.jpg  220C 008.jpg  220C 011.jpg  220C 006.jpg  220C 013.jpg  220C 015.jpg  220C 018.jpg

What does the inside of the generator look like, Keith?

The frame and brass look pretty polished to have been sitting around for 75 years unfired...

The gen tube should tell the tale. Your pictures are OOF, but it looks like the gen has been subject to heat.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

It looks very nice, I would say that it has definitely been cleaned up and fired back up. 75+ year old brass doesn’t still look that shiny. Nice find.

Either way, congratulations on such a nice find especially at that price. Can’t believe someone sent that to the thrift store!

A very sweet deal on a great looking lantern! My only Coleman lantern to ever have a stress crack was a 220C. Didn't know it was possible, the thing looked as good as yours.
