... courtesy of a generous member here.  For some reason I seem to be partial to single mantle lanterns.
It didn't need much work, just tied on a new mantle, poured in a bit of CF and she lit right up.  I'll have to install a new filler cap gasket as the original is nearly hard as a rock and so leaks a bit.
Here you see it rocking a Chinese green topped mantle.
The paint on the fount does seem a bit delicate.

In my opinion one of the most highly underrated lanterns. I know they are a bit newer but just about as rock solid as you'd ever find. Nice one.

I absolutely love 335’s and that’s a very nice one! One of the best runners Coleman ever produced.

If the paint is really delicate that might mean the fount is nickel plated. Some of the early ones were.

Note that the fuel cap seals on Canadian one piece caps are slightly larger than on the US ones.

Whay a beauty. I love all Coleman products but these lanterns are my top favorites because they just work so darn great and they are a true workhorse. They put out a ton of light. They make up about 20% of my collection right now 😂 thanks for sharing!

Anyone have a 6/95 birthday lantern?

Even I as a novice collector can see how well made the 335 looks to be.  I want one.  Were these only offered in the Canadian market?  And what are the going prices for them in say the 8 to 10 condition (scale of 1 - 10... 10 being perfect)?

Oh, and that one looks amazing!

The date on this one is 11  71.
Yeah, the spots where the paint is off the fount are suspiciously shiny, makes me wonder if it is nickle plate underneath.
The control valve unscrews more than I am accustomed to.  My other lanterns full open is just a tad over 3 turns, this one keeps going to nearly 4 1/2 turns before it stops, always makes me worry that its going to come out and squirt fuel all over the place.   But it runs great.

i agree with everyones high opinion of the 335’s.....they are my go to lanterns......the long control valve comment made me chuckle......it just keeps coming farther & farther out where im thinking i might need to step back to get better position & get ready to stop, drop, & roll......lol
