So you may remember a few months ago I posted a teaser about this when I got it making fire.. Well, here's the whole thing complete:
The shade finally arrived yesterday while I was out (Go figure) and the lamp was still holding pressure from the last time, so I'm gonna stick a figurative fork in it now.
Here's as close as I have to a before shot:
Dented, large portions of plating gone, tool marks, yeah, it was a basket case. (Incidentally, I'd like to thank coolfireguy for selling it to me.) I brought the dents out as much as I could with the hot water method, then mudded it and painted it silver. It'll never be mirror-shiny like it was new, but I think it looks pretty good for 105. I sent the top of the generator to Dean for a new pricker and tip, ordered a 322-style shade (It ain't milk glass like the original, so it goes well with the paint- that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!), and here we are.

What a cool looking lamp.  Great job of bringing it back!  That beautiful shade goes really well with it.
