I picked up this little burner from an older gentleman who had used it to melt lead for bullets and fishing weights as a kid.  He said it worked last time he used it but couldn't remember when that was!!!

Nice job! Not over done, not under done. It's ready for another lifetime of service.👍

Why is there never enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it over?

That 500 cleaned up nicely, good job. It’s nice to hear a little bit of history on the pieces everyone restores.

Thanks for responses everyone.  The 73 year old 500 has already percolated some coffee for us!  I might take her along to Glacier NP with us next month where she will be joining the '54ish 413E stove, twin '58 220E lanterns, and the baby of the camping trip.... Coleman Convertible Ice Box (early 70's I think)...

Got all of those cleaned up in the last couple of weeks as well.

This is a cool forum... kinda like an AA meeting for my Coleman addiction, but no one is encouraging me to stop collecting!

Great clean up, i like when the burner plates are left like that versus re-painted.

Looks good. I bet it feels just as good watching it burn perfectly.
