My wife is out of town visiting family. It is time to get out and hunt a little. I went to a place I've had good luck with in the past. I haven't been there since before Covid started so it seemed like time to go.

I found what looks like an unfired 1963 King Seeley. It looks pretty immaculate. Doesn't look like it has ever been lit. When I checked the parts well it is full. Unfortunately, no box. I haven't done anything to it yet. I paid more than I like to pay, but well within reason for what it is.

Nice lantern👍 I've got it's twin. Mine looked like they had a fireball on first light up then put it away, came with original box 3 spare generators and full parts well. I understand these to be one year only?

That's just beautiful! I think the King Seeley is the hardest milspec to find. My hunt for that one continues....

Nice score Andy! Pretty sure the King Seeley was only made for one year.

1963 was the only year that Thermos King Seeley was awarded the military contract. That's an awesome score Andy. I'd love to add one of those to my collection.
