By popular demand I am trying trying to set up a Michiana breakfast gathering. I am looking for some feedback from attendees, available weekends 1-25 or 2-1? Saturday or Sunday?
Location? Three Rivers, Schoolcraft, White Pigeon or elsewhere?

I’ll keep an eye out for what is figured out. Had foot surgery again and been off work. Hope to go back next week. Fingers crossed, but once I do go back I’m sure they will have me busy and I don’t know the on call schedule until I’m back to work.

I'm not retired yet either. I'm still working on that part. 😁 Until that time, I'm still a slave to the game.

I'm up for a different restaurant / town if anybody has any ideas. A new location might bring some new members in. Actually any place with good food will work for me! John

Hey John. I contacted Greg earlier today and ran the possibility of Callahan's in Elkhart to him. I had the same idea that others might be able to make it or it would make it easier for some to get to, being on a major road. I can also run by the hotel that's right behind there and ask about using the corner of their parking lot for swapping and shooting the bull time. For those who are not familiar with the area, Callahan's is on the south west side of exit 92 on I-80/90 in Elkhart.

Isn't that just a little west of the RV hall of fame Museum

I’m good with that if everyone else is. Rob said it is on SR 19 at the toll road.

Swap meet location TBD, either behind restaurant, motel parking lot or Rob’s yard.

Is anyone tired of their perfection 750 that will make the Michiana breakfast .  Would like to find a nice and functional  one to pair with My 130C. Something about that glowing globe seems enticing

How big is the swap meet for this gathering? Reason I ask is it is a 10 hour drive from Alabama.

Thanks

You northern guys have access to stuff we just don't see down south. I was in Detroit in October and was amazed at what was on marketplace and in antique shops

Reason I ask is it is a 10 hour drive from Alabama.   Basically, it's a bunch of local guys getting together for breakfast and just swapping some stuff in the back parking lot. It isn't anything that would be worth driving that distance unless you have a lot of free time and you just want to meet some guys and put faces to names.

Thanks

Don’t forget your fuel cans, Shipsy isn’t too far off your route to pick up white gas.

Seriously good idea. How far off the path is it and any guess what price per gallon??  Non of that "elixir of light" to be found round these parts!

Hey Bob. If you let me know how much you want, I can pick it up for you. It's another 45 minute drive for you, but I work 12 minutes away from there. The last time I grabbed it, it was still $4.99 per gallon.

If anyone has   220e and 220f vents for sale  I could use one each them to make a chimney/adapter between the mica globe and a top vent. I will be cutting the top cap off so destroying them and having them redone in white if it works.
