I could use a few 200 a burner frames. Rusty is ok. Pitted not so much.
John. Thanks for the heads up. Did I spy a 530 and my missing burg vent? Lol

Thank you john for digging oit the hipolito parts for me. Nice skyhawk instrument panel by the way. My kids have flown a 172 3 or 4 times now, along with a Beechcraft Bonanza once.

Does anyone have a junker nickel quick-lite vent that has a decent top tier that you're willing to part with? I'm working on a QL for a good friend and the brass on the top tier of his vent has corroded through. His has the 3 tabbed vent, but it looks like the top tier of the later embossed vents are the same thing.

I had that poster sitting on the concrete and it started drawing moisture so I raised it for awhile. I learned to fly in a 152 and a 172 back in the 80's but our old trainers sure didn't have radios like those. I haven't been current since about '85 but it was a fun thing to do.

Denise and I ate at Oasis last Sunday and I reserved seating for 12 of us tomorrow, they said “that’s cool, someone will call you towards the end of the week to verify it”.
I never received the call so I stopped in after work today, they did have it set up, I told them to change it to up to 20 people.
Our seating is in the northwest corner of the restaurant under Rubin, the next time I will tell them my last name is Coleman.
Looks like dry roads in the morning so it should be clear sailing. Drive safe and I’ll see you in the morning.

We had a good turnout this morning, temp's were in the low 20's. Here are a few pics of us after a good filling breakfast buffet. gathering '19 001.jpg  gathering '19 002.jpg  gathering '19 003.jpg  gathering '19 004.jpg  gathering '19 005.jpg

I pretty much have the same pics as John except how often do you see a 316 Yale on a tailgate at a parking lot swap? I did bring home my first original Coleman lamp shade with color to it. I’m told by the experts that it is a 324, the 3rd and final version.
It was a pretty hardy group standing out in a Meijers parking lot in the low 20s swapping treasures and stories.
The last head count I did in the restaurant was 17 but I think a few more may have strolled in later. I’m glad to see that two of our long distance travelers have made it home safely. That's a beautiful shade Greg. Go figure, they got a picture of me with probably the dumbest look that I can imagine all over my face. Timing is everything I guess. It was great hanging out with everyone again. Bought a few things, squared up on a deal and missed squaring up with Moses. I really wish that I would have caught him before he left.

Rob that look is totally understandable when a guy is trying to bundle a 316 Yale and a Metallic
