I’m getting a lot of requests for a breakfast meet up and swap meet from you guys so let’s do one. Saturday February 16th, Oasis restaurant in Three Rivers, MI at 9:00 am.
There is a large semi truck parking lot directly behind the restaurant to hold the swap or we can move to the Meijers parking lot.
I’ll PM or text most of you guys personally but please PM or post if you are coming so I can reserve enough seats. Thanks Greg

I sent out a bunch of PMs and text messages. Please reply when you can so I can make sure we have enough seating available at the restaurant. Oasis has really stepped up their game on their breakfast buffet.

Hey Greg. My wife and I will be there. Is anyone looking for anything in particular? I'll look and see if I have anything to fit the bill. Thanks for posting this Greg.

Haha. I told my wife that you commented on what I posted and she said " I bet he said that he wanted your arc or poultry lantern". I got a good chuckle out of that one. She knew. I would still like to get our poultry lanterns together sometime and compare the differences.

That would be cool if you can make it Mike. I'm not sure that I've ever met you in person before. I've talked to you on the phone when I posted lanterns for sale on CL, but I don't have a face to put with the name. I've met so many people at the gatherings that I can't remember most.

I hope I can work a deal with a co-worker to trade weekends, but it’s valentines weekend.
I’ve met some of the “locals” in person and via phone/internet and have learned so much in the year that has passed. It would be great to everyone at the same place and shoot the bull and wheel and deal.
Hope for good weather and hope to see ya there.
I’ll pm some you guys for some requests and or your needs.
Mike

I am looking for a couple of parts for upcoming fettles.

#1 A nicer late 1920s 427 QL frame with the down turned ears. These lanterns had a brimless vent but the bale was already bent out to accept the brimmed vent. Please see the first pic. I do have some 427s that I can break down if needed when the time comes but I’m hoping to find someone with a bad fount.

#2 I came across the nicest CQ lamp I have ever seen last year but it has the wrong valve and wheel on it. It has a newer valve with a Bakelite wheel on it. I am looking for a nice valve assembly with a fiber wheel on it, preferably with a D stamp. Please see the second pic (this is not the nice one that I found just an example of what i’m looking for)

#3 I am looking for a nice valve stem and fiber wheel with a D stamped on it for a QL lantern.

Let me know if you can help.
Thanks

I'm off work 'til Tues. so tomorrow I'll finish loading the van. Mike, I've got your 2 vents ready. Rob, I've got one complete Hipo 500c.p. I'll bring, and a couple cages, and I think I have a vaporizer or 2 and some ceramic caps for the Hipo. Is there any interest in some 220 globes, 10 dollar red logo, 15 dollar green rising sun and some misc. 200 style for 10 bucks ea? I'll bring this pile of sorted 200 parts as well. I'm looking for a couple of burner cages for these 237's. See you Sat. John  200a parts 001.jpg
