Good afternoon fellow coleman collectors as most of you know my son Louis became a colector at this years Gettysburg meet.  Well he's wanted a 243 ever since well with the help of 1hpycmpr Mark he got his 243 we gave it to him a little early his bday is the 30th and got it running today he could not be happier here's a couple of pics of Lou and his 243a.  It came with a box and some other goodies but without a  globe but I had a Coleman sunrise globe for it so he got it Thank you to Mark 1hpycmpr again for everything!

Lou, you are welcome!  You and your Dad have your new lantern looking wonderful and burning bright!  I’m glad you like it and I really like your handwritten thank you.  Lou, that note is very much appreciated and made me smile.

Phil, I’m glad that everything worked out.  Sometimes things just come together at the right time.  I hope to meet the both of you some day.  🙂

It's always awesome seeing younger folks take an interest in these.  However, at the rate you're going, pretty soon you'll be asking the kids if you can borrow a lantern and stove to take to Gettysburg.

Catch up?  I was thinking that they would be adopting your lanterns and stoves over time.  🙂
