Well, in 1996 they did.  I was going through some stuff I got when I took over the repairs from Ben Miller, the old Amish guy that was doing it.  Thought those of you that have one of these might enjoy it.  I can email the scan file to anyone that wants it.

This filled a big hole in my collection.  Have become quite interested in Leacock/Amish lantern and lamps after the 2015 ICCC Convention in Ohio.  This was an unexpected addition .

Somehow, I've managed to acquire three 635's.  The first was gifted to me by BigFrank.  About a year later I found one for a very good price at a "garage sale store" in the nearby Amish town of Middlefield.  I picked up Number 3 at a garage sale last summer for a mere $5--I've since given it to my friend and fellow collector, Bob Boyd.  Coleman should still be making these....

I found two of these lanterns yesterday at an auction sale in an Amish settlement.
They have been heavily used and need a lot of cleanup.

I would love to add one of those to my collection. I do have 2 of the older ones both dated 2-71. One is NOS. To be such a great lantern they don’t seem to get much attention/discussion.  5AC0F1A5-2CE5-4E74-9F4D-69AE047C21CE.jpeg

I agree, kind of a modern 236. They don’t get as much love as the 237.

They really are great lanterns. I've had 5 of them so far, and they've all been great runners. Honestly, if I had the room, I would've kept all of them.

I cleaned up the better of the two I found.  Added a 286 heat shield.  The globe is a cracked and scorched test I had handy.  I have 2 NOS large bulge globes and will be using one of them.  It is not pretty but it makes a lot of light.
