Leviticus Tomethreus

I have this 220d with the date code a51. I thought that Coleman plated all of the d lanterns other than wartime lanterns. Also, what does the date code translate to? 758B28D5-B0CE-4170-A910-267AC0E42EAE.jpeg

My friends don’t call me “Lantern/lampie Levi”
for nothin’,if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

The biggest lie I tell myself is
”I don’t need to write that down, I’ll remember it.”

The A51 is the first 6 months of 1951. The D’s, I think, went through at least 3 variations. An early painted fount, then nickel plated and then back to a painted fount.

Do you keep your lanterns in the house or did you move all five to the living room for a picture? Also, beautiful lanterns.

I keep most of them in the house as long as they don’t smell or have bad gaskets. I need a shelf or 6 lol. If I was married it might not be possible though.  F9BD59CE-9B7C-4F7D-B780-4C2CCC3E5D00.jpeg  57175E11-588A-4367-BFE7-EA16A4FFCB2E.jpeg

Haha,  I do need to thin down a few of the #’s but I’ve realized I can’t let Any of them go.

Lol why not, and are all of the white things to protect the vents

Well they probably do protect the vents a tad from tweaking against the nut if I happen to tighten it too much but they are just a info card for each lantern. Being paper I have to remove them when I light one.

Why don’t you use the note things attached to a string. That way to can put it on the control knob and don’t have to take the note off when you want to light it, which may be a while for some of your 200a cult there.

I didn’t think of that at the time and I’m too invested now to switch. Plus I’m sticking with the it protects the vent with a little cushion from over tightening the nut theory Lol.

Bob, I get a kick out of you getting a kick over my granite work area lol. Since I’ve never been married I can’t list the pros of married life but being able to do dirty work inside the house with AC is definitely a pro of being single.
