I decided to take my lamp for a test drive tonight with the shade on for the first time. I think I like it...

I did find a fuel leak that I had to fix when I lit it the first time but no big deal.

I like it too.  Lamps are one of the hardest things to find out here in the Southwest.

That really looks good.

I burned it for 4 hours last night. Never even had to pump it.

I like it but shouldn't it have a more "Sears " orientated shade ????

Scullins - I was going to buy a black shade but could not find on that looked right or fit. If I went black I was going to paint the handle silver. Since I didn't do the black shade I went black on the handle to tie the blue & black in. This was the best shat I could find. It is a cloth shade that is kinda gold in color. I figured it would with the yellow in the decal.

I like your shade better than mine. Mine I got at a garage sale 2 for $3.00 with some really ugly brown lamps attached, they got recycled.
