Someone saw me walking with a lantern at the market and asked if I was interested in some they had........sure I am.

visited them today and came home with 5 kerosene models. 3 249’s and a pair of 247’s. All from 48 with the exception of the seafoam 247 which is from 47

I already found a 249 earlier this year and figured that was it as I’m lucky to find 1 per year. I should buy a lottery ticket today!

Fantastic find. I think @SteveRetherford would be quite interested on the 249's horseshoe-shaped preheater cup around this time.

Wow!  What a score!  I occasionally find ONE neat lantern at a time, never FIVE!
And I've yet to find any 247's.  Why is Steve interested in 249's with horse shoe shaped pre-heat cups?  I've got one, nickel fount, dated 4/49.

Awesome score!
