I have an Aladdin wick I've removed the clips from and am getting ready to attach it to the riser for the kero-lite.  I know this has been done before but what is the best way to attach the wick to the riser. it looks like someone in the past tried to use staples from a office stapler, but they were loose and probably hung up.
This burner came with no wick at all just three staples

A quick search brought up this thread.  It *might* help.

I checked Kirkman's and don't see the wick or wick riser, but the Ker-o-lite mantles are certainly cheaper than Aladdin mantles!

I'll check with a buddy who may have saved a copy of the procedure.
