Forgot to ask this in my former post: May I know of other compatible gens to use in my 228E? Thank you-Rattlebone

Any 220 gen--still made and often found at hardware/sporting goods stores.

T44G if you run across one.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

The T44G was replaced with the 220E5891 in the 50’s.   This is the generator in almost any green 220 or 228 or earlier or the 275/A models.

T44G was used in the early Instant-lite lanterns and lamps. I'm pretty much joking, there. They'll still work in any 220/228, but you would probably want to keep one for the collection if you find one.

I found some last year:

The G is for gasoline. The T44K ran on kerosene. I suspect just a smaller gen tip.
