Project on hold due to rain.  Anybody with clues (or instructions!!!!) feel free to contribute.

Scott, if you are good at puzzles and tents come on by!

It looks like it is lower in the back than  it is in the front when set up.

For sale: A top of the line vintage canvas tent in BEAUTIFUL condition inside and out. This all blue Rainer. Model Summer Villa, made in Seattle, is a true year round tent with the quality and features for winter and summer outings. As with many vintage canvas tents, the quality of this four season tent is superior to new ones on the market today. This can be seen in the stitching, which has been sewn with heavy gauge threading and is still tight and in fantastic condition. The canvas is a heavy 8 oz material. A previous owner has removed the original care information tag, but typically, these quality canvas tents have been treated for water, mildew, and fire resistance. The heavy duty, stain, and water-resistant floor provides both comfort and durability. Dimensions are 12' x 9' with a center headroom clearance of 8' The"cabin" design creates the most USABLE interior space of all the tent styles. This vintage year around canvas tent has a unique design with a high. Vaulted center that extends out farther on the far wall creating additional floor room. The entry eave wall height is 6’ 4” tapering down to 4’ 6” on the rear eve. In addition to the extra square footage, this feature gives the tent extra light and ventilation with the result of a roomy and airy atmosphere. You won’t feel cramped or claustrophobic with this tent! This tent has a fully screened- center zippered entryway that is a full 9’ across. The zippers on the threshold curve down at each end allowing the canvas to lie flat on the floor(nothing to step over) The entire top portion of both door sections have screened windows with tie-downs that can be left open opened when the tent door is fastened. The entire front wall of the tent then has an upper window for lots of light. In addition. There are three other large, fully screened windows(one on each wall) with inside tie-down closures. The tent has a large front awning that fastens down in front of the door to serve as extra protection in bad weather. This tent has so many gr

Once you do get it together, get all the old rattle-cans of paint you have and paint each junction a different color. It'll make it much easier next time.

The good folks that made the tent found this old catalogue picture...after that was  possible to figure out the puzzle.....got two section of pole left over though?  Everything there, couple small  holes in screens, we are going camping in style soon. Made from 69 to 74. List price $200.50.

What sort of treatment now?? Anybody got info on treating a  50yr old tent?

Nice tent....we had a canvas tent much like that one when i was a kid.  Lots of room in there.

Shoe Goo is a good product to fix small holes in tent screen.

Should have taken a picture once everything was taut.....took a little fiddling, you keep expanding the poles, and tightening the tie-outs, and spreading the stakes... now that I have had it up once I could probably get it pretty well up in 20 minutes. I did tape mark the poles with different color duct tape and wrote on em with a felt tip, as well I grouped them into front, rear, center and awning.

Lots of potential camping headed your way Keith! I recommend the inflatable queen size mattresses with built in pump. Just need a little 120v power. They are like 2ft. tall these days, huge!
