That's what it is.

Check carefully for leaks. Those don't have a drain at the bottom of the tank, so any water that gets in, stays in.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

I agree. Looks like the label I have seen on other Gloria tanks.

I have yet to look at it myself, was told it has a rust spot with pinhole. ( I know, where there is one there will be more) Can it be saved or is it a display only?

Do you feel lucky? 5 gal+ of pressurized gasoline in a compromised tank?

It wouldn't be too hard to make a new one with modern parts that aren't rotted out. And a drain on the bottom!

I have a Knight--looks about identical to your--that has a sieve for a bottom.

Here is a pic of one that I had, after I found a Coleman HW tank I got rid of it.

I don't think that one could ever be anything but a display piece.

This is my Coleman HW tank that is on Terry’s site. It was still pressurized when I got it. It’s the perfect size for me right now as I only have one fixture to light up. BTW a good guy, Mike Wells found this tank and sold it to me.

“This hollow wire tank held about 1.5 gallons of fuel; the rest of the volume was occupied by air under pressure. The tank is the same one Coleman used to build a Model 5552 Handy Gas Plant. You can see a 5552 Handy Gas Plant on this page. This tank is in Greg Rubin’s collection.”
