Hi Everyone!:

Have been lurking on here for a week or two soaking up information to help me with my Coleman Stuff.  Mostly stoves, but I just received my first lantern a 1964 vintage 220F.  I have hopes that I can get her running, looks promising so far.  Couldn't pass it up as it was born the same month as me.  Pics (I hope) to follow later.

Sincerely,
J.W. Hall

Hi and welcome from western Massachusetts. That 220f is a easy lantern to work on, I did a full fettle on mine not long ago. You should be just fine. This site is the best. Plenty of knowledge and great people to chat with.

Welcome!

The 220F was the last of the "classic" 220s. It's a good, solid lantern.

This wrench: https://www.oldcolemanparts.com/product.php?productid=2216&cat=&page=2  is handy for working on any 220 or 228 from the F back. You can make you own by grinding down and bending a yard-sale 9/16" open-end wrench.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

Greetings and welcome. The 220F looks like a nice one. Shouldn't need much to get it going. A couple of great stoves too!
